Toasted Cheese Ravioli & Tomato Basil Soup
Enjoyed by kids and adults alike, grilled cheese and tomato soup is comfort-food at its finest. Pairing an easy, homemade tomato basil soup with Louisa's popular Toasted Cheese Ravioli is a new twist on an old favorite.
Ingredients
- 1 Package Louisa Toasted Cheese Ravioli (Big Value)
- 2 cans (28oz.) crushed tomatoes
- 1 can (14.5 oz.) chicken broth
- 18 to 20 fresh basil leaves, minced
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- ½ cup butter
Directions
- In a large saucepan, bring the tomatoes and broth to a boil.
- Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add basil and sugar. Reduce heat to low; stir in cream and butter.
- Cook until butter is melted.
- Prepare Louisa Toasted Cheese Ravioli according to package directions.
- Spoon soup into bowls. Serve Louisa Toasted Cheese Ravioli on the side.
