Toasted Sausage & Cheese Ravioli with Bacon, Beer and Cheddar Dip
A perfect dip for game day (or any day really). It's insanely good with three of America's favorites – bacon, beer and cheese. Serve this and you'll be a shoo-in for MVP with the home and visiting teams!
1 package Louisa Sausage & Cheese Toasted Ravioli
16 oz. cheddar cheese, shredded
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
5 slices bacon, chopped
1 cup lager beer
1 tsp. fresh garlic, minced
Salt, to taste
Prepare toasted ravioli according to package directions.
For the bacon, preheat oven to 400°. Bake bacon on a foil lined baking tray until crisp (about 10 minutes). Cool and cut into small pieces.
In a nonstick skillet, melt cream cheese over low heat. Stir in cheddar, beer and garlic. Stir continuously until smooth. Season with salt to taste.
Plate toasted ravioli. Serve hot dip, topped with chopped bacon, in a separate bowl.
